Sprouted Almond Milk Recipe


Almond milk is another delicious alternative to dairy milk. It creamy, nutty taste adds a certain level of dept and originality to cereals, shakes, oatmeal, pastries and beyond. Almonds are packed with a healthy surplus of vitamins, minerals, proteins and antioxidants that supports physical and mental health. Even though there are commercial variates available, most brands are spiked with synthetic ingredients that degrades its nutritional value. Making your own almond milk is the simplest way to ensure that you are reaping the most value.

 Sprouted Almond Milk Recipe

Ingredients and Equipment:

  • 1 cup of raw almonds
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp raw honey (optional)
  • Cheesecloth or suitable alternative
  • Medium bowl
  • Mason jar
  • Blender


  • Sprout your almonds by rinsing and soaking them overnight or for at least 8 hours,
  • Once soaked, transfer almonds to the blender, and then add the water,
  • Blend ingredients until smooth,
  • Next, ready your bowl by covering it with the cheesecloth,
  • Slowly pour the blended almonds onto the cheesecloth, squeeze the liquid from the almonds,
  • Repeat this step until all the milk has been extracted,
  • Transfer the milk to your mason jar and sweeten with honey,
  • Enjoy!

* Almond milk can be refrigerated for up to 4 days. You can use the almond remnants in your pastries and shakes.*
