Natural Almond Butter Recipe
Ingredients and Equipment:
- 2 cups of raw almonds
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp pure honey
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- Food processor
- Lidded mason jar
- Place the almonds in your food processor and process until the almonds become the consistency of thick butter. The almonds will process into powder first and as the oils are released, it will become more doughy and pliable. This step can take up to 15 minutes and you may have to stop and scrape the sides down a few times,
- Once a doughy consistency has been reached add in the honey, salt and coconut oil and then pulse a few times to incorporate,
- Transfer your almond butter to the mason jar and store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
