I have always been a big fan of Kylie Minogue since the first release of her 80’s hit Locomotion (oh no, I am showing my age, aren't I). She has managed to re-invent herself over and over again in the sometimes tough as nails music industry. Her sound is just as ageless as her beauty.  I was happy to receive a copy of Kylie’s latest album The Abbey Road Sessions to review. This beautiful collection of music consists of 16 tracks of reworked pieces throughout her 25 year musical career, plus a never before heard track.

Abbey Road Sessions was recorded with a full orchestra along with Kylie’s band and her pure voice in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. I honestly love this album; it puts me in a great mood. The remakes stay true to the originals however, they also sound completely brand new. The instrumentals complement her voice beautifully. I enjoyed every single song on this album, however I have to say that the reworking of “Locomotion” is awesome, my daughter and I just couldn't stop dancing, I also really loved “On a Night Like This”, “Finer Feelings” and “Can’t get You Out Of My Head”. I have to say that Kylie’s career is far from over, her voice sounds beautiful.  The Abbey Road Sessions was released on Nov, 6th, it is available on iTunes and Amazon. I would recommend this album to everyone who loves great music.
